Doggie Oasis DOUBLES in Size!!!
We are
very excited to officially announce our EXPANSION! We have taken over the space next to us to double our play area, and add grooming and do-it-yourself
bathing. We are very excited about the new addtion, as are all the dogs. There is more space now so you shouldn’t have as much trouble getting your dog
in to play at the last minute! We do still ask that you call ahead, just in case. We also added another web cam to cover the larger area, and the
ability to watch them both at the same time! All current clients are using our new lobby entrance when dropping off and picking up dogs. We are using
the old lobby for new dog evaluations.
Doggie Oasis Grooms!
Doggie Oasis is excited to announce grooming, Doggie Oasis Style! No cages, and a low stress environment. Whether your dog needs an artistic cut,
specific breed trim, or a refreshing bath, we are able to do it all. Any member of the Doggie Oasis staff can give your dog a cleansing bath, and Kate
Blair, our groomer, will be able to give your dog a true salon treatment. If you find it easier to bathe your dog yourself, we offer that too! We have
two generously sized tubs with everything you would need to make your dog look their best! .
Small Dog’s Separate on Tuesdays!
With our new expanded play area, we are able to separate our smaller guests from the big ones. Every Tuesday we will be doing this to
give the small dogs that tend to be a little more timid around the larger ones a chance to enjoy day care and build their confidence. There is still a
10lb minimum for small dogs, and they will still be playing with the big dogs the rest of the week. Our weight limit will be 30lbs for the small area.
For more information, and to sign up, call 734-3647 or email info@doggieoasis.com.
Ready, Set, Obey!
Doggie Oasis is proud to
welcome Shelly Volsche to our team. Shelly has intensely studied dog behavior and training for the last four years, and came to us from a day care in
Wisconsin. She is very excited about working with the best dogs in Vegas, and is currently available for private one-on-one sessions in the day care or
in your home. We are also offering a variety of classes. Shelly is offering Puppy Kindergarten and Basic Obedience Classes beginning October 5th.
Stephanie Beetsch is adding to her repertoire by offering Agility, a Tricks and Games class, and seminars. All classes will be small groups, so you will
get the maximum amount of attention for your dog!
Doggie Oasis and SNAPPS Help Animals from Katrina
The Southern Nevada Association of Professional Pet Services (SNAPPS) is leading a donation drive to help the pet victims of Hurricane Katrina. Many
pets were left behind as their human companions were forced to evacuate their homes. With all of the flooding, these pets are now stranded, if they have
survived at all. Noah’s Wish is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to rescue animals after disasters. Noah’s Wish has a wish list of supplies
needed to help them with their difficult tasks. Some of these supplies include new dog leashes and collars, cat collars, muzzles, first aid kits, and
collapsible wire cages. Supply and cash donations are greatly appreciated.
SNAPPS has a network of pet businesses ready to collect donations for this cause. Doggie Oasis Day Care in The Lakes is the main drop off location.
Donations may also be picked up by SNAPPS members who service the entire valley. Call Doggie Oasis 734-3647 or the SNAPPS hotline at 655-7307.
